more creepy than cute: antique carnival knock-down dolls (via antiquehelper.com). the one pictured below and a few others i saw on eBay today)
antique tobacco silk clown suit (via antiquehelper.com)
wood bead parrot toys- a wild mix of colors, shapes, textures. though i don't like idea of any creature born to fly (or otherwise) stuck inside a cage. i saw brilliant red macaws flying wild n' free in costa rica several years ago- it was amazing to see. but i'm getting off topic, well maybe not since animals inspire me the most :)
have fun today!

Oh, I've always LOVED these old carnival dolls too. Sometimes they're called "carnival punks," I don't know why. A lot of "urban toy" artists have made modern versions of them, with comic-inspired art, and they are amazing. There used to be a shop in Chicago that sold them, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now. Anyway, can't wait to see what they inspire in you! I'll start saving my pennies now! :)
we are birds of a feather tracy! :)
Wonderful textures, your new stuff will be as fun as this last batch!!! Hello Pengy girl from Grenoble France, 4 hour hike in the mountains neqrly killed me but you would have loved it, flora and fauna everywhere!
