Sneak Peek: My 1st Ellie/ New Bears for Abracadabra Shop!

Here they are! The long awaited new gang I created for Abracadabra Teddies shop in UK! (drumroll please) And introducing my first ever ELEPHANT, little "Ellis Poe" :O) He is designed similar to my 'antiqued' bears with unjointed head. Ellis and the bears are all One-Of-A-Kinds! They should arrive in UK by end of next week...Abracadabra is taking advanced orders due to the holiday season, e-mail marsha@abracadabra-teddies.com. Hope this new bunch tickles your hearts. Oh, speaking of hearts...

Giving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving and warmest blessings to you all! Today is Chicago's first **snowfall** & what perfect timing; a nice day to stay snuggled indoors and heat up a cup of apple cider. It was an unusually warm 60 degrees just a day ago and golden maple leaves showered the sidewalks. I am thankful though, that it is feeling more like the season. Ol' man winter needs his turn too!

My studio is starting to come together, still loads of unpacking and organizing to do. Here is a pic of my studio "pre-rehab" when we purchased the house, previously it was a bedroom. Oh yes, the previous owner's furniture/ contents was all left here for us to sift through and haul out, but that is another story.. LOL!

Packin' Up the Studio!

Hi everyone! I am taking a short break to move to our 'new' old 1920's house this month. Hubby and I have been rehabbing it for many months now, and finally this week we will have a functioning bathroom! LOL! While I get my studio set up & running again, please peruse the wonderful Peng Peng Bears available through the fine shops that carry my creations.

As the world moves bigger, faster and stronger, we occasionally seek comfort in little things. tinyshop celebrates the preciousness of "mini" --- the shortest distance between 2 points, the space of minutiae, and creative endeavors on a small scale.

tinyshop will run from November 17, 2007 through January 6, 2008, at double punch gallery in San Francisco's North Beach district. Special events will be held throughout the shop's lifespan, pondering the tiny theme. Fun-spirited folks and magnifying glasses are most welcome.
