new! mini vintage style tubby pup

there's a new pup on the block! "crackers" is a one-of-a-kind miniature mohair pup, inspired by the vintage character einco tubby dogs. this is my 2nd pup, and i did him in traditional tubby colors of rusty orange and beige. i darkened/aged his face and paws for a time-worn appearance. crackers is just adorable, neutered and ready for a loving home! SOLD

happy memorial day! can you guess what fun things i have in store for you?

yes, sock monkeys are coming! i pulled out 12+ pair o' vintage red heel socks from my stash today. first i will be washing/ dying/ ageing the socks to prepare them for their magical transformation into crazy monkeys! then the sewing, stuffing, personality-making, and custom outfits that gives them their uniqueness. it's been a long time between sock monkey updates, and i'm very excited (as i hope you are too) to begin the new group. i will post progress pics here so keep checking back :)

for meat-free monday (8 days a week here :) we grilled up veggie skewers, tofurkey beer brats w/ all the fixins, fresh organic carrot/parsley/celery juice, and oven baked french fries (i make em spicy served with a decadent dollop of vegenaise and katsup). delish and nutrish!

presenting peach pup - new design!

how delish is this little peachy pup?! he's inspired by my long-time fascination with the vintage einco tubby dogs.. which are similar in style to chiltern's early 1900's master teddy. so a round-headed pup is a natural progression.
i've only made one other round-headed einco inspired bear/pup, "kentaro" way back in 2005 for Abracadabra UK shop:
